Young Naruto's isolation genuinely bothered me again, even in a filler; it just solidifies how much Iruka had to truly battle his own overwhelming pain from the Nine-Tails to see past it and accept Naruto. I can't help but admire his incredible selflessness, choosing to be that first light for someone he could have easily resented.
