It was genuinely heartbreaking seeing Iruka-sensei wrestle with his history, and it made me totally understand why he's always been so protective of Naruto. I mean, after everything he went through, for him to still look past the Nine-Tails and see a lonely kid? That's just incredible, and it makes their bond feel even stronger to me.
