Seriously, listening to the Fourth Hokage talk about the masked man and the Nine-Tails attack just absolutely gutted me, realizing how much darker the Leaf Village's history really is, and it makes me think about all the times Naruto probably blamed himself or felt like an outcast without knowing the full truth.
