I gotta say, the timing for this whole Utakata arc felt a bit out of nowhere, but him being a wanted man really drove home for me how much bigger and messier the ninja world is beyond just the Hidden Leaf. It makes me wonder what kind of past he had that led to this, and honestly, it makes me worry even more for Naruto's future.
