Honestly, the flashbacks were a little much and totally stopped the momentum just when I was getting hyped for Sage Mode, but man, that shot of the book title at the end just absolutely wrecked me. It felt like a punch to the gut, making me wonder how Jiraiya could even think about what he wrote after everything.
