I swear, those flashbacks of Minato and Kushina excitedly picking out Naruto's name just twist my gut knowing how it all ends, and seeing Jiraiya sink into the water, still smiling even after he thought he'd failed, just absolutely broke me. It's wild to think he died believing he didn't achieve anything significant, when really, he sculpted some of the greatest shinobi the world has ever known.
