I can't believe Pain actually thinks mutually assured destruction is the way to true peace, like, creating a super weapon just to scare everyone into submission. His whole ideology is so messed up, but it kinda makes me wonder if there's a part of him that genuinely believes this is the only way after everything he's been through.
