Jiraiya's memories with those kids really twist the knife now that he's facing Nagato, especially seeing the very power he once believed in being used for such destruction. I just can't believe how far Nagato has fallen from the child Jiraiya tried to guide, and it makes me wonder if there was anything else he could have done back then to prevent this awful outcome.
