Guren actually choosing to crystallize herself to protect Yukimaru was such a twist for me; I mean, she started out as this antagonist, and now she's giving everything up for him. It's wild to think about how much that kid's already been through, and now he's got to process losing someone else who cared about him, even if it was to keep him safe.
