Yamato using his wood style to hold back those curse mark freaks was pretty cool to see. He always has the best looking jutsu and he really saved the day during that encounter

Those pills Kabuto gave to his lackeys are terrifying, they gain so much power but you can tell it's killing them. The way they transformed was super creepy and effective.

I think Kakashi taking on the smoke guy was the best part and it felt like a real fight for once. Filler usually sucks but the action here was really decent and fast

Sai giving water to Yukimaru was such a sweet moment and then he got wrecked immediately. He tried his best and it was sad to see him lose the kid again

Tenten really showed up with that armor shell and Lee was there too. It was nice to see her contribute and they survived those weird smoke clones at least

I always love when Shino gets to go all out and watching his bugs swarm that sticky guy was so gross but cool. He needs more screen time and this filler is holding up fine

Poor Yukimaru getting forced to take those pills, it was hard to watch him suffer just to wake up that beast. Kabuto is a monster for doing that to a kid.

Guren and Naruto yelling at each other inside the giant turtle was pretty funny but you can tell she actually cares about the kid now. Their escape was definitely the highlight here

Ugh, seeing Kabuto just completely disregard his subordinates and treat them like disposable pawns seriously gets under my skin. It just reinforces how much of a self-serving jerk I think he is, always with that annoying smirk.

I can't believe how cold Rinji was with those kids; it made me genuinely uncomfortable and I didn't expect a filler arc to dive into such dark territory. His manipulation just felt so heartless, making me wonder what kind of past would warp someone like that.

I was genuinely surprised to see Shino and Tenten get a decent chunk of the episode; it's so rare they actually get to shine like this. Watching them bust out their unique jutsus against those curse mark guys really reminded me of how much potential these two have that usually gets overlooked.

Ugh, this filler arc is seriously testing my patience, even if Lee and Shino's fights did give us a little bit of awesome today. Watching Rinji mess with Yukimaru like that was so messed up, it just makes me desperately wish Naruto would show up and wipe the floor with Kabuto already. I swear if we don't get back to the actual story soon I'm gonna scream, this pacing is killing me.

Ugh, this filler arc just keeps dragging on, doesn't it? I'm getting so tired of watching these henchmen groan about their curse marks; honestly, it feels like they're just trying to pad out the episode count.

Whoa, those heart-to-hearts between Guren and Naruto, stuck in that Three Tails beast, really made me see her differently; I wasn't ready to connect with her struggles like that, and it’s unsettling how much I’m rooting for her now.

When Sai actually offered Yukimaru his water, my jaw dropped a little; I mean, after all that 'emotionless tool' stuff, I genuinely didn't expect him to make such a kind choice. It really showed me he's fighting past his Root conditioning, and that makes me hopeful for his future.

I was really looking forward to seeing how Naruto would handle these curse mark guys, but the animation during their fight just felt so stiff and clunky, it actually made me wonder if the studio was rushing things that week.

I just can't stomach seeing Kabuto treat Yukimaru like a puppet, forcing those terrible pills on him. My heart aches for that kid, and I wonder if he'll ever truly recover from being used so callously like this.

I gotta say, Shino swooping in with his bugs to totally shut down those curse mark guys was awesome; it really reminded me how dependable he always is. Though, I can't lie, this whole sealing team mission is dragging a little, making me wish they'd just speed things up already.

Ugh, seeing those three dudes amp themselves up with Kabuto's weird pills was genuinely gross, like, I felt a little queasy watching them transform. And honestly, the fight animation felt so janky during all that, it kinda pulled me out of the moment, which was a shame because the idea was pretty intense.

Ugh, I was getting so frustrated when Kabuto just slapped those curse marks on random dudes to mess with the sealing team. It felt like such a cheap move to just stretch out the fight, and it made me wonder if he even *had* a real plan beyond being a nuisance.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 109 of 500, this falls squarely within a stretch of anime-original filler centered on the Three-Tails sealing mission. It follows the events of 'Guidepost of the Camellia,' where Naruto and Guren escaped the beast, and now shifts focus to the Leaf Village's containment efforts. The episode bridges directly into 'Memory of Guilt,' which promises deeper dives into character motivations and the fallout from choices made here.
