Guren having character development that is very interesting, knowing she is Orochimaru's potential vessel

The episodes where Team 7 goes in search of the Three-Tails seem very slow and boring to me. If you can't fall asleep, I recommend you watch this arc, especially this episode.

Guren is starting to act way too much like a mom to Yukimaru and it is going to be a total disaster if he finds out what she did to his actual mother

My brain hurts from this filler arc already because the pacing is so slow and we have spent way too much time walking through foggy trees doing absolutely nothing

I am so tired of Kiba and Sakura acting like Naruto is an idiot when he was clearly right about the turtle in the lake and it makes me want to scream at the screen

Seeing Sakura actually support Naruto and tell him to keep going for Sasuke felt good because they usually just argue and it was a nice break from all the fog nonsense

I know this is filler but the whole vibe with the giant turtle in the lake is actually pretty cool and I like the mystery. It's just annoying how Naruto gets ignored every time he says something important. That talk between him and Sakura about Sasuke was the best part because it reminded me why they are such good friends.

That fake Sasuke standing silently in the mist, just *staring* at Naruto, completely gave me the creeps; it was so unsettling to watch Naruto grapple with those illusions, making me genuinely worry about what else the mist could conjure up to mess with his head.

Ugh, I swear these Sasuke fake-outs are getting so old, and seeing him in that mist genjutsu just totally got my hopes up for nothing. It really bugs me when they pull that stunt, especially in a filler arc like this; it feels like they're just dangling him in front of us to keep us watching, you know?

I was honestly so surprised by that crystal style jutsu; watching Hinata get turned into a statue like that really freaked me out, it felt so permanent and awful, especially for a filler arc. I kept thinking, what could even fix something like that?

I gotta say, Guren's flashbacks when she was out cold really killed the pacing for me. It felt like the whole civil war plotline just screeched to a halt, and honestly, it made me question what the point of all that build-up even was if we're just hitting the brakes like this.

Ugh, when Team Yamato got stuck behind that massive crystal wall, I was seriously annoyed; it just felt like such a transparent way for the writers to drag things out and keep us from the real action. I was ready for them to jump into the fight, you know?

Naruto finally pulling off that one-handed Rasengan was such a hype moment for me, but gosh, some of the animation for those big attacks felt so off it pulled me right out of it. I just couldn't believe they'd put such a huge power-up reveal into a filler episode and then let the quality dip like that; it felt like such a disservice to him.

Ugh, I swear, this Three Tails mist illusion thing always gets me, but watching Naruto *still* fall for a fake Sasuke just felt so tired, like we've been through this emotional roller coaster a hundred times already. It's like his obsession with bringing Sasuke back blinds him every single time, even to the most obvious trick.

I was seriously impressed with Shino in this episode; he was the only one who actually looked like a competent ninja, gracefully dodging all those crystal attacks while everyone else was just flailing around. It kinda makes me wonder why he's not considered more of a powerhouse when he pulls off moves like that.

Ugh, when Guren totally trapped Hinata in that crystal, my heart just sank. It always feels like she's getting the raw end of the deal in fights, and I was just dreading what might happen to her this time.

Okay, so like, the animation was kind of janky in places, which was a bummer, but when Naruto saw that Sasuke illusion? Man, that messed with me; I just kept thinking about how much he misses his friend and how desperate that vision probably made him feel.

Hinata really took a beating from that crystal style; she was pushing herself so much against those mirrors, but it seriously made me question the effectiveness of her Byakugan. I can't help but wonder if crystal release is just inherently broken against taijutsu, or if this is a wake-up call for her to find some new ways to fight.

Ugh, I seriously can't believe they had Naruto pull off the one-handed Rasengan in a filler episode instead of the actual canon! That's such a massive step for him, showing his growth and mastery, and it feels like such a squandered moment for his character development not to have it in the manga.

I totally thought the Three-Tails would bring the house down this episode, but man, it was mostly just people chilling in the woods and Sakura laying into Naruto, which kind of bummed me out. Honestly, that mist illusion of Sasuke actually got under my skin, and seeing Shino so utterly lost when his bugs were useless really caught me off guard because I always expect him to have a plan.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 100 of 500, this filler installment follows the chaos of the Three-Tails' rampage, shifting from large-scale destruction to a more contained, psychological scenario as the team contends with the disorienting mist surrounding a mysterious lake. It bridges the gap toward the next episode, 'Everyone's Feelings,' where character motivations and shifting alliances take center stage. Skippable for canon-only viewers, but it adds texture to the team dynamics during this stretch of filler content.
