Episode Context

Arriving directly after Mayura becomes caught up in Hel's machinations, this penultimate episode escalates the conflict to its most personal and consequential point yet, forcing Loki into a direct reckoning with his daughter. It functions as the series' emotional climax, clearing ground and raising stakes that feed straight into the finale, 'The Departure of the Gods,' where questions around Loki's exile and his bonds with those around him are finally put to rest.
