So much has lead up to this point in the series that makes this one of the saddest moments in anime history. The series is older but the story and characters suck you in and captivates you from the very start. Be warned. You will get emotionally invested in this series.

Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the 52-episode run, episode 33 follows 'To Die for the Star of Suzaku,' which escalated both internal tensions and external threats facing the group. This episode serves as a major emotional turning point for the entire series, fundamentally altering the dynamic among the Suzaku Seven and raising the stakes for everything ahead. The fallout carries directly into 'Guardians of Ice,' where the team must press forward on their quest while bearing the heavy consequences of what transpires here.
