Episode Context

Following the devastating failure to summon Suzaku in the preceding episodes, this installment processes the emotional fallout before the story pivots forward. It serves as a crucial breather and character recalibration at the series' halfway mark, grounding the stakes in personal cost rather than plot mechanics. The episode lays essential groundwork for the upcoming Star Festival, which promises to reignite the quest with new developments and shifting alliances.
