Episode Context

Coming off 'Manifestation of Rebirth,' where Taka and Miaka press forward on restoring his lost memories, this episode turns inward to examine the fractures forming within the Celestial Warriors, particularly through Tasuki's conflicted loyalty. At episode four of six, this is the OVA's emotional pivot point, and it directly sets the stage for 'The Transience of a Water Mirror,' where the group must face new external threats with this unresolved tension still simmering beneath the surface.
