I loved getting actual backstory for Mai. ...until now she is just been the tough and attractive frontline brawler. The setting transitions beautifully from the sleek and the color settings was like art itself. hehe
This was one of the first episodes that made me appreciate Mai a lot more. The central idea is creative and gives the cast plenty of opportunities to interact in ways we haven't really seen before. It balances humor and character development nicely while quietly adding more depth to the team.
Action packed episode. Really impressed by Mai's fighting skills. The unique concept used here to fight phantoms by Haruhiko and Mai was brilliant! The action scenes were animated well- the visuals,magics everything. The first half was fun and slow but second half covered it well. Overall, good one👍
