The episode is a high-tension bureaucratic battle. The dummy Prom plan finally collides with the school administration and Yukino’s mother, forcing a standoff that is more about psychological leverage than school rules. It's incredibly satisfying to see Hachiman’s growth.
I'm glad that the Hachiman vs Yukino-mama got adapted. It feels like I'm watching a chess match, the studio even perfectly adapted the poker face and mannerisms of Yukino-mama. The studio perfectly captures the expression of Yukinoshita regarding a frustrating scene where she states her command to Hachiman, It was the same thing I said before when reading the LN; "This has become convoluted that it just looks ridiculous!"
yukino steps forward more decisively here, her tone steady but you can hear the weight behind it, papers shifting and voices overlapping in the room add pressure, hachiman watching closely, this feels like real growth happening, definitely not something to skip
