EPISODE REVIEWS

Change of scenery as the group heads somewhere new and meets a different crowd. Feels like a breather episode with some worldbuilding sprinkled in. Chill pacing overall.

Episode Context

Sitting at the season's near-midpoint, Episode 5 follows directly from the group's encounter with Amelia's sister Kilika in Episode 4, using that emotional beat as a springboard into entirely new territory, literally. The move into beastfolk lands expands the show's world significantly and lays groundwork for the conflicts and alliances that will likely define the season's second half. This is a pivot episode, closing one chapter of the journey and opening the next.
