My Socks

The anime centers on a young schoolboy who gets his socks exceptionally dirty while playing with friends. Fearing his mother's reaction, he decides to hide the soiled socks at home, hoping to avoid being scolded. This act of concealment, however, backfires. Instead of finding relief, the boy becomes increasingly anxious. He is plagued by the constant worry of his mother discovering the hidden socks. The simple act of hiding the socks transforms into a source of overwhelming guilt and fear. The narrative explores the emotional turmoil of a child grappling with the consequences of his actions and the weight of a secret, highlighting themes of childhood anxiety and the impact of parental expectations.
