Hakutou is so cute~ And the writing parallels between him and Momose are peak lol. They’re both so cared for by Shirosaki 😂 Shirosaki is the coolest boss man 🥺 And he has lowkey protective bf vibes too omg. But THAT stinger scene, though… 😣

Aww Hakutou was so cute, he’s getting Shirosaki’s goofiness and really went on his mission. Also, it’s just a short scene but I keep giggling and smiling at that! There’s also a new character. And I really like some of the dialogues, it’s so comforting and soothing. Super proud of Momose too!

Episode Context

The penultimate episode of My New Boss Is Goofy leans into the personal side of its characters' lives, shifting the lens away from the office and toward the everyday challenges that come with adulting, specifically, the hunt for a place to live. A-1 Pictures maintains the series' signature warmth here, balancing gentle comedy with genuine emotional beats about independence and the comfort of having people who care about you. Expect the same cozy, low-stakes energy that defines the show, but with a subtle undercurrent of transition. The workplace bonds that have been built across the season get a chance to shine outside the office setting. This is a character-focused breather that prioritizes heart over plot momentum, delivering exactly the kind of feel-good comfort food the series does best.
