Coming off the emotionally charged 'Rain — Tears...' in Episode 5, this episode deliberately downshifts, using a lighthearted social setting to reset the mood and expand the cast with the arrival of Midori Sugiura as a Fuuka Academy teacher. At Episode 6 of 26, the series is still in its character-establishment phase, and the relationship tensions introduced here — particularly around Mai and Yuuichi — quietly plant seeds that will carry weight in later, more intense story developments.
