My-Hime Episode 6: The Passionate Age of 17 (^^;)

This is the episode that i was looking for, my most favorite HiMe and Guardian of all time. She was the coolest for me and the way she fights with her guardian.

You have to admit, that was a great way to introduce a character into the fray. Well technically, they were introduced a few episodes prior, but this time, the presentation was fully fleshed out allowing the personality to shine. And what a great addition she was to the cast, immediately standing out from the rest of the ensemble. The animation and fight scenes involving this individual also shined through. This was a great way to start a new chapter for the series, I just hope they keep the momentum and the rest of the show would just be as good if not better.

The pacing is pretty decent this episode, and it has a tendency to drop little snippets of lore to keep you quite engaged. Again, the fight scenes are actually quite well animated, and so are the designs for the orphans as well as the beings they call "child". The soundtrack for the fights matches it too, and ofc Natsuki's child has its own theme that I cannot get over for some reason.
