EPISODE REVIEWS

well this episode was really interesting, but the fight scene was a bit anticlimactic i was expecting more but they compensated it with fan service so it's all good.

And now we have an episode essentially combining both action and humor and being effective at both. It also works at giving that particular character more dimension in terms of her personality and it's kind of cute in a way. Fanservice aside, it had time for some minor exposition about the current state of the setting and the true nature of our titular plot device. So in a way, this is a sort of lighthearted step to advanced the story, no damage done. Expect thing to go heavier from here on out though, time to see how the series goes through with that.

Seems like more of a fan-service filler episode and not an episode central to the plot. This episode does, however, help build a closer bond between the main three characters: Mai, Mikoto and Natsuki. Some of the expressions, especially Mikoto's, are awfully funny, but this episode is an easy skip if you're interested only in the plot.
