I find it so sweet that Kochi's place is becoming more lively than before. However other than that, I did not enjoy this episode due to one specific trope. It's so overused and I just find that Pop's character is to appeal to male audience, albeit it's obvious from the start. I'm hoping to see a character arc of her own. Moreover, I do not wish that Pop and Kochi have some kind of romantic interest with each other, especially after knowing when they met.

Very good episode. The level keeps rising as the season progresses. There’s strong character development, deeper motivations being explored, all supported by great animation, fight sequences, a solid soundtrack, and effective use of flashbacks.

Great episode that gave us some backstory, adding more depth to the characters. It started cute and wholesome in the first half, then slowly escalated into something intense. The balance between the tones worked really well.

The first half of the episode was so cute as we got a surprising backstory for Koichi and Pop. It was such a wholesome moment but also pretty funny at the same time, which made their dynamic even more enjoyable to watch.

This episode delivered wholesome moments while also building a tense situation at the same time. It felt perfectly balanced and very interesting, especially with the appearance of another character that added more intrigue to the story.

Now it’s getting somewhere. The tension is picking up and interactions feel more natural. I’m more invested now than before.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the season's midpoint, 'Judgment' follows Episode 4's exploration of the tension between professional heroes and vigilantes, now turning that lens inward on Koichi and Pop☆Step themselves. This episode serves as a critical bridge—closing out the character establishment phase while planting the seeds for the approaching Stendhal Arc, which promises to push the moral complexities of vigilante justice to their breaking point. The villain escalation introduced here signals that the back half of the season will operate at higher stakes than what came before.
