This episode dive into the backstory of Kochi's master and his reason why he's so worked up on the drug. I'll admit that it's pretty depressing, I feel bad for him and I'm hoping he can get his justice soon.

Good episode, kind of slow and lacking action, but it develops plotlines and subplots that will carry into future episodes. If you’re into character lore and backstories, you’ll probably enjoy it.

Solid all around. Keeps the tension without dragging. Not perfect, but I had a good time with it.

Episode Context

Coming off 'Mom Descends!' and its exploration of Koichi's family life, episode 10 pivots to Pop☆Step's aspirations and Knuckleduster's independent investigation, broadening the narrative scope heading into the final stretch. As episode 10 of 13, this is clearly the calm-before-the-storm chapter, establishing the 'Naru-Fes' event that becomes the focal point of the following episode, 'The Day Of.' Everything here, character positioning, unresolved mysteries, event logistics, is designed to converge in the season's climactic run.
