This series takes place before Izuku went to UA high. First episode and I'm already hooked! The choice of animation is fascinating- there's a hint of comic likeness to it which somehow reminds me of a background character that has word on their head. Honestly don't know if anyone remembers that guy lol.

The episode isn’t bad. It has good characters and a very clear storyline from the very beginning. But coming from the original anime it’s based on, it does feel a bit strange. Still, it’s an average episode.

As episode one of thirteen, 'I'm Here' serves purely as foundation, establishing Koichi's ordinary life, his modest Quirk, and the societal rules that keep him on the sidelines before his path into vigilantism begins. The introduction of Knuckleduster signals the catalyst that will pull Koichi beyond his comfort zone across the season. Everything here is setup: the world, the stakes, and the emotional core that the remaining twelve episodes will build upon.
