This episode was really great, giving Shoji and Koda more character depth. The fight scenes were amazing, and the emotions? They hit harder than I expected. I love how they fluidly connected the flashbacks with the present, making this episode even more emotional and meaningful.
This was such an interesting episode, especially if you align it with what’s happening in real life. And they say anime doesn’t make sense, lol. This episode disproves that. It was emotional and beautiful while giving the spotlight to Shoji. Such a badass character. Been waiting for this since the third season, tbh.
As someone who had been waiting for Shoji and Koda to finally get THEIR episode, this really made me tear up. Finally, my children got the exposure they needed! This episode not only tackled some timely social issues, but also added more depth to Shoji and Koda’s characters. Love this episode!
