This episode wasn’t that hype but still good. Maybe I expected a first episode like the previous season’s, which set the bar a little too high, lol. Anyway, this was still a good episode. The new characters are interesting, and that opening was such a banger, btw. Still, I’m excited for what’s coming next.

The moment I heard the banger opening, I already knew it was sung by TK. Anyway, as much as Star looks really powerful and like an interesting character, why do I feel like this is going to fumble? Lol. Anyway, this episode was really good to kickstart this season.

A good first episode for this season. Star’s an intriguing character, but this didn’t really grip me hard enough to make it thrilling. It still kept things interesting, though, and it felt more like a setup episode.

My Hero Academia has been one of those anime with a great soundtrack and plot. Characters who are not overpowered are especially shown in this episode, thus every detail will excite you!!

The sound design of the sonic booms of the jets made me really feel the aerial combat. Though her quirk explanation is a bit too much for me, she was very creative with her quirk. Must watch if you prefer a fight of tactics instead of an all out brawl.

The episode keeps building tension, focusing on preparation and shifting dynamics. The pacing remains controlled, giving weight to interactions and decisions. It feels like everything is moving toward something bigger, with a steady sense of anticipation throughout.

Man, the season kicks off with insane energy right away. That massive scale, the larger-than-life hero vibes, and the crazy intense atmosphere had me on the edge of my seat from the first minute. Such a hype way to start things off!

My hero academia- but American style!!?. The new debut character is absolute fire🔥. I love her quirk though- creative and high stake! The animation is great and this time, there no "fluf"!! Straight into the action!! Excited.

IMHO, Star has the most interesting quirk so far in the MHA universe. Thank god that kind of quirk went to her instead of some irresponsible person who'd do random stuff with it, including myself 😌

The first episode feels really solid right from the start, very engaging and hard to skip. You stay hooked the whole time. The action stays intense throughout, and the animation keeps getting better every time. Star and Stripe using her power felt amazing, she looked extremely powerful.

Jumping back in with Izuku Midoriya feels different this time- heavier, more serious. Even Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki feel more focused. It’s like everyone knows what’s coming, and that tension hits early.

Entry of Star comes in swinging with the animation to match—that air combat sequence is insane. Opening theme absolutely rips with Deku's back being awkward in his dorm early on, but the tone stays heavy. Doesn't waste time getting into action. Had me on the edge of my seat fr.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the first canon episode of Season 7, this premiere kicks off the Star and Stripe Arc immediately following the recap specials that bridged Seasons 6 and 7. It introduces critical new players and raises the global stakes that will define the season's trajectory.
