Ochaco Uraraka's primary ability stems from her Quirk, Zero Gravity, allowing her to manipulate gravity on objects she touches. Initially, she could only affect objects weighing up to three tons, causing them to float. However, through rigorous training and eventually a Quirk Awakening during the Paranormal Liberation War, her abilities significantly improved. Her Awakening expanded the range of her Quirk, allowing her to affect multiple objects simultaneously without direct contact, and removed her previous weight limit. She can now effortlessly manipulate massive amounts of debris, creating devastating attacks like Meteor Storm and its variations. Beyond her Quirk, Ochaco is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, having trained extensively under the pro hero Gunhead. She utilizes Gunhead Martial Arts, incorporating grappling techniques and throws to effectively utilize her Quirk in close-quarters combat. Her agility and reflexes are also enhanced, allowing her to dodge attacks and swiftly incapacitate opponents. She's strategically adept, able to analyze opponents' weaknesses and exploit them effectively, often using the environment to her advantage. Her mental fortitude and unwavering determination allow her to persevere even against overwhelming odds, showcasing remarkable resilience and fighting spirit. Her enhanced strength and stamina, developed through training, further contribute to her overall combat capabilities. Finally, Ochaco's hero costume is specifically designed to mitigate the negative effects of her Quirk, including nausea and physical strain. The various components of her suit, such as the helmet, wristbands, and boots, help regulate her blood pressure and cushion landings, enhancing her performance and overall effectiveness as a hero. Her upgraded costume also includes grappling hooks, allowing for increased mobility and offensive capabilities.
