Dang, Studio Bones really gave it their all here. The animation? Peak. The fight, story, and characters? ABSOLUTE BANGER. This was an incredible episode.

Chills. Literal chills. The animation was superb—actually, this whole episode was just amazing. This was probably one of the best episodes of the season. Such a peak arc!

I love the emotions conveyed in this episode. Not only that, but the animation looked SO GOOD. I honestly got goosebumps watching the fight.

Episode Context

Episode 13 marks the decisive climax of the Shie Hassaikai arc, which has dominated the first half of Season 4. It follows directly from Episode 12's dire battlefield conditions against Overhaul, converting that desperation into the arc's most explosive confrontation. The next episode, "Bright Future," shifts to the emotional aftermath and begins transitioning the season toward its next phase.
