The aftermath didn’t feel lacking at all, as if everything had truly ended already. It felt relaxing yet emotional at the same time. This episode leaned more into emotions and character depth, especially with the Todoroki family. That chapter finally concluded beautifully.

I thought the episodes after the fight would start feeling lacking, but nope. It still hits hard emotionally and delivers really deep dialogue. I love the progression here because it makes you look forward to what’s next while also dreading the fact that it’s already ending 🤣

This episode was amazing, not because of flashy fight scenes, but because of the closure it gave after the battle. Everything was written and portrayed really well here, giving several characters the depth and closure they truly needed.

Adegan dengan Bakugo memang sangat menyentuh. Dia sudah sangat berubah dan ternyata rasa persaingannya selama ini sangat tulus. Senang juga melihat akhir yang menyenangkan untuk kelas 3 (para senior). Bittersweet untuk keluarga Todoroki (expected from Half Hot Half Cold family)

This is a very emotional episode. Bakugo has really grown so much from S1. Every character is so lovable including the villain, that it is sad that Dabi has such an ending. With Dabi, we are given a proper conclusion for Todoroki's family, it is definitely a bitter sweet ending.

And once again, we find ourselves in tears over everything that happened. The journey these young heroes have taken is incredible. There are still embers of what once was and what will be.

The episode slows things down a lot, and I actually liked that. It focuses more on the characters and what they’re feeling after everything that happened. There’s not much action, but it feels real and emotional. It’s a quiet episode, but still meaningful.

Following an exciting finale, we see the aftermath of a bittersweet victory. The heavy toll taken on All Might, Midoriya, and Bakugo is heartbreaking, but soothed by their resolve to recover. From grad ceremonies to the Todoroki family confrontation, loose ends are tied up.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 9 of an 11-episode final season, this installment marks a critical shift from the climactic battles of preceding episodes into reflective, character-driven territory — a necessary exhale before the series reaches its conclusion. The Todoroki family thread has been one of My Hero Academia's longest-running emotional throughlines, and placing its resolution here signals the show is tying off major character arcs. The final two episodes will need to carry whatever remains for the broader narrative, making this a pivotal turning point from action to closure.
