Everything feels normal at first, then it suddenly gets tense. It adds a bit of mystery that keeps you curious the whole time. It’s not just about fights anymore; you can see Light's human side here, his perspective on compassion and value for life. The story feels deeper now.

Episode Context

Sitting at the exact halfway mark of the 12-episode run, Episode 6 pivots from the alliance-building and emotional grounding of Episode 5's 'A Small Wish' into a new external conflict that tests Light's crew in a fundamentally different way. The Adventurer Killer introduces stakes that extend beyond personal vengeance, broadening the scope of the story heading into the back half. This development directly feeds into Episode 7, 'Thank You,' where the fallout from this confrontation reaches critical turning points.
