The episode is too short and doesn't convey much of the story. There was no reason behind the tragedy, and how everything happened.

The cocoon episode should've been a little longer. We got to learn much more about how the Mushishi operate and communicate which is great! And tied in with the communication, is a bitter yet sweet story that leaves you hopeful. This is one of the best episodes so far.

I really like Aya and Ito's voices; they sound cute and realistic. The atmosphere of the trees is also very calming. Moreover, the ending really made me happy.
