Muramata-san no Himitsu
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Patient, professional, and always willing to cover for people when things go sideways, that's the kind of coworker Muramata is, and everyone around her knows it. Her subordinate Kaji keeps messing up at work, and after one particularly rough day, she takes him out for drinks to decompress. Their usual spot is closed, so she brings him back to her apartment instead. That's where things shift. Behind the polished office-lady exterior, Muramata has a secret she's never shared with anyone at work, something personal she calls her "youthful foolishness", and being home, relaxed, and a little vulnerable is enough to let it out. What follows is the two of them navigating that unexpected intimacy together. The setup is quieter and more grounded than most in this genre. It leans into the slow buildup of an adult relationship rather than jumping straight into the deep end, which gives the characters a bit more texture than you'd expect from a two-episode OVA. The office dynamic between a senior employee and her subordinate adds a layer of tension that the story actually uses. If you've watched something like Ane wa Yanmama Junyuu-chuu and appreciated a story that takes its time establishing character connection, this one has a similar patience. Fans of Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo who liked grounded domestic settings over fantasy scenarios will also feel at home here. It's adapted from a manga, and that source material gives it a cleaner narrative backbone than most productions in this space.

Nice
The animation is just standard for this type of show and she looks great with the pixie cut but the plot is basically just an excuse for the bedroom scenes
I did not expect that split tongue reveal at her apartment and it made the scene feel way different than the usual office romance stuff
Kaji seems a bit too much like a generic lead but the secret Muramata reveals kept the story interesting enough to finish the episode
The romantic undertones during the drinking scenes were a nice touch, especially when she finally lets her guard down and shows Kaji who she really is.
That scene where they find the lounge is closed and decide to go to her place instead is where things really get interesting for Kaji and Muramata
I felt like the connection between them became so much stronger once she finally let her guard down and told him her secret
The office scenes at the start were a bit slow and it took a while for the story to actually move to her apartment
The buildup from their office life to that quiet night at her apartment was really well done and it actually felt quite romantic. I loved the moment she opened up about her youthful foolishness because it added some actual weight to their connection. It almost gives off Valentine vibes with how the two of them grow closer through that shared secret.
I think the moment she started talking about her youthful foolishness in the living room was when the episode really clicked for me
It started out as a simple night to blow off steam after Kaji messed up again and then it turned into something much more intimate at her apartment
Muramata being so kind to her subordinate after he messed up at the office sets such a cozy mood before they get to the apartment
Everything changed the second they realized the bar was closed and decided to head back to her apartment instead of just going home
The way the apartment scene felt so chill before things got heavy hit me hard
That moment in the kitchen when she started talking about her past caught me off guard
She acts so sweet at work then showing that side at home is crazy
Muramata is the perfect office lady and her secret is actually wild
Kaji messing up at work actually turned out to be the best thing for him and his senpai
There is such a cool contrast between how Muramata acts at the office and how she lets loose once Kaji is finally at her place
The secret is way more unique than expected and it adds a very specific interest to their office dynamic
