I didn't even notice that I'm already at the second to the last episode. The show has been a vibe since I've started, and this episode definitely showed how the General had some character development while living with the humans, the way he'll subtly help them get through with troubles and his love for animals is downright wholesome. I liked how he's kind to children, their interactions with him are always cute.

This episode felt really bittersweet, especially with the two children who symbolized the trees at the beginning. I wonder why the General can see them. The robot cat, C-018, seems to have a sad backstory as well. I hope the General keeps C-018.

The buildup is subtle but it works hahaha not much action but the tiny details make it so funny that awkward charm is unmatched. the General just casually solving random side character problems on his day off is everything .
