Mr. Osomatsu 4th Season: The Matsuno Ten
Oshimeter
Synopsis
What happens when six brothers in their late twenties share a house, have no jobs, no real ambitions, and absolutely no plans to change any of that — and somehow that's the entire premise? That's the Matsuno sextuplets — Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Juushimatsu, and Todomatsu — and this special is a bonus episode from their fourth season together, still doing exactly what they've always done: making each other miserable in the funniest ways possible. Each brother has a distinct personality that makes them a walking punchline in their own right. Karamatsu thinks he's impossibly cool. Choromatsu pretends to be the responsible one. Ichimatsu looks like he hates everything, including himself. They're all disasters, just differently flavored ones. The humor is sharp, weird, and very Japanese in its references, poking at cultural expectations around work, adulthood, and family while never taking itself seriously for a single second. If you've spent time with Gintama and enjoy comedy that goes completely off the rails without warning, this will feel familiar. Fans of Lucky Star's slice-of-life absurdity or the chaotic ensemble energy of Baka to Test will also find a lot to like here. This particular release is a one-episode TV special, so it's a quick watch — good for catching up if you've been following the fourth season or just want a low-commitment sample of what the series does. No dramatic arcs, no tension. Just six grown men refusing to grow up, and the show finding endless new ways to make that funny.
