Mr. Osomatsu 4th Season
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Still unemployed, still shameless, and still leeching off their parents — these six identical brothers have zero intention of changing any of that. The Matsuno sextuplets — Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu — are back for a fourth season of doing absolutely nothing productive and somehow making it endlessly entertaining. Each brother has a distinct personality that clashes perfectly with the others: one's a narcissist, one's a depressed cat lover, one's disturbingly energetic, and the rest fill out every flavor of lovable disaster you can imagine. The setup for this season drops them right back into their usual routine — lounging around in the summer heat, bickering over nothing, and stumbling into increasingly absurd situations that parody everything from modern work culture to anime tropes themselves. Studio Pierrot Films keeps the animation loose and expressive, which fits the gag humor perfectly — characters stretch, morph, and break form whenever the joke demands it. If you're into shows like Crayon Shin-chan or Tensai Bakabon where the comedy is shameless and the characters have zero growth by design, this is your lane. It also has that same irreverent energy as KochiKame, where the humor comes from watching fundamentally flawed people refuse to improve. At 12 episodes, the season doesn't overstay its welcome. Just pure, dumb fun with surprisingly sharp writing underneath all the chaos.
