Both Torogai and Balsa are absolute badasses. It's so refreshing to see, actually, well-written female characters for once. I initially thought Shuga was useless leading the hunters' team, but I was horribly mistaken, he really shows his worth with his simple reasoning.

This episode captures the slow burn perfectly. The ordinary aspects should be tedious, but here, they only add to the depth of the scene. It was a good episode and got me hooked on the characters.

A chill episode that shows what life is like living in a hunter’s hole during winter. It’s great to see Chagum toughen up, he’s already smart and skillful. I like how the characters here don’t have ulterior motives; they simply show loyalty and do their duty.
