Gotta say, not my absolute favorite episode ever, especially compared to previous ones, but the constant misunderstanding between Hori and Kashima is lowkey hilarious! And also the part where the gang is figuring out the background art for the manga is also priceless humor😭

This is such a cute anime. Mikorin is really knowledgeable about …. It’s cute! Their problems are really chaotic but funny, it goes to shows that they are really close. Their friendship is so pure, their personality supports each other. It’s not a typical high school drama, it’s quite fascinating how they make high school life vibrant and enjoyable.

This episode made me laugh so much; these situations of misunderstandings can get boring, but the anime knows how to handle it with the necessary humor.

Episode Context

Sitting at the two-thirds mark of a twelve-episode season, episode eight continues the show's strategy of cycling through its supporting cast after earlier episodes established Nozaki and Sakura's central dynamic and Nozaki's manga workflow. The previous episode deepened the creative-process humor; this one expands the ensemble by giving Kashima and Hori substantial focus, building out their relationship for the comedic payoffs the final stretch of episodes will lean on.
