Boy, where to begin, the story takes a surprising turn. The mood’s been set for good vibes, and comedic hijinks so setting up an episode exploring dark topics even as a subplot seems thematically out of place. It’ll be like if Konosuba tackled a deep topic out of nowhere even in a glancing way would seem a bit strange for a show centered around being comedically uplifting.

I do like the show, and the tender moments between the characters and their doctor are sweet. The ending was wild though!
