Since we got an episode focusing on the relationship between Ayame and Sazanka, I guess we've gotta have one on the relationship between Hinageshi and Erika too, quite a fun and emotional watch, and I love how the pacing stays consistent throughout. I'm a little unsure if I miss the choppy CGI fight scenes, though.
I'm more in it for the story but these slice of life episodes focusing on characters ain't so bad. It was goofy all throughout and we got to learn a lot more about Hinageshi and Erika, which was nice. I wish they didn't go so hard into their character trope (same for the others as well) because it's lowkey kinda annoying. I still think the show is pretty stale so far and the last minute hints don't do anything for me. I am not optimistic.
In this episode battle begins with the two main characters, and both character was able to produce and bring out their skills.
