The battle IQ when it comes to the girls is pretty concerning, and what I've learnt from this episode is that you should NOT try to be a hero. The pacing is again quite erratic, with the first half being uneventful with a LOT of dialogue and the second half being fast-paced af.
The voice acting was seriously pretty amazing though, and some of the background shots look quite beautiful.
What's also pretty fascinating is that the names of the weapons are drawn from Ancient Nordic mythology. For example, Surtr (Sakuya's weapon) is the greatest of the fire giants - which makes sense cuz the weapon is a sword with flames. Gleipnir is a binding that was used by the gods to bind Fenrir. The weapon used by Hina, she mentions, is used for "hacking", which is also a sort of binding, which is actually cool cuz it makes sense.
