On their honeymoon, Honami's husband dies. That alone is gutting enough, but then his sister Kayoko shows up convinced Honami married him for the money and killed him to cash in. So now Honami is grieving, trying to honor what she and Satoshi built together, and simultaneously fending off a woman who wants to destroy her life — along with Manabu, the guy Kayoko raised and now has pointed at Honami like a weapon. This is a 2-episode OVA from 2010 by Schoolzone, adapted from a visual novel, and it leans hard into that source material's strength: character tension. The setup is genuinely interesting — a widow trying to hold onto something meaningful while people around her assume the worst. The family conflict has real weight to it, and Kayoko isn't just a flat villain; there's grief driving her too, just pointed in a destructive direction. If you've watched something like Shoujo Sect: Innocent Lovers and appreciated when a hentai OVA actually bothers to build emotional stakes before anything else, this scratches that itch.
