This episode follows directly from 'Love is at the End of the Light,' in which Queen Maria detects Shakti's presence aboard the Angel Halo, pushing the conflict into a more spiritually charged phase. 'Uso Dances with Illusions' dramatizes the immediate psychological fallout of the Angel Halo's activation, placing Uso at the center of its destabilizing effects.
