Episode Context

Coming off the major revelations around Hangelg's identity and the introduction of the Angel Halo superweapon, this episode redirects the focus inward to the cracks forming within the Zanscare Empire's leadership. It functions as a critical bridge in the final act, deepening the stakes of the war's endgame before the next episode, 'The Battlefield Comet Fuala,' pushes the Federation's advance forward and introduces fresh complications on both sides.
