Episode Context

Coming directly off Episode 28's high-tension escape arc for the Reinforce Junior crew, Episode 29 channels that momentum into a pivotal upgrade, the debut of the V2 Gundam, a significant leap forward for the League Militaire's fighting capability. This marks the series' midpoint, roughly Episode 29 of 51, making it a natural inflection point where the stakes begin to escalate toward the back half. Episode 30, 'Mother's Gundam,' picks up on threads introduced here, deepening the significance of the new mobile suit and what it means for the characters around it.
