Episode Context

Coming off the League Militaire's bold assault on the Zanscare capital, this episode pivots to the fallout, a strategic retreat under heavy fire that tests the crew's cohesion and resourcefulness. At the exact midpoint of the 51-episode run, it marks a turning point where offensive momentum gives way to survival instincts. It directly sets up Uso's increasingly complicated entanglement with Queen Maria, pushing the series toward its more politically and personally charged second half.
