Episode Context

Sitting just past the halfway mark at episode 26, 'Masai's Heart' arrives after the intense desert showdown of 'Rommel's Face' and serves as a deliberate emotional reset. It deepens the personal stakes for Judau and the crew before the narrative escalates into the two-part 'Leina's Blood' storyline immediately following. This episode is a clear marker of ZZ's broader tonal transition from its lighter early stretch into the heavier, more consequential drama that defines its back half.
