Two characters finally meet, and two characters meet their fate, and their fated confrontation is set in stone. Incredible action, amazing soundtrack and tight animation, this one is one of the best in the entire series.

Episode Context

Coming off the intense Luxembourg battle sequence, this episode marks a turning point in the show's second half, pivoting from pure action into the ideological confrontations that will define the final stretch. The meeting between Heero and Treize recontextualizes the war's power dynamics, and what is introduced here, both in terms of technology and allegiance, casts a long shadow over the remaining 15 episodes.
