Episode Context

Positioned right past the series' halfway mark, 'The Turning Point' follows the emotionally charged 'Kira' arc and transforms simmering character tensions into full-scale military confrontation. The Archangel's departure from Orb closes out a crucial period of refuge and reflection, pushing the narrative into its back half with sharply raised stakes. What unfolds here directly reshapes alliances and rivalries that will define the war's trajectory through the remaining twenty-one episodes.
