I like the pace of this episode, but what I don't like is the amount of fan service. The placement of fan service in this episode seems to be out of place. This also happened in episode 1. It's a shame because it disrupts my enjoyment of watching it. I don't mind fan service, as long as it fits the plot. But what was depicted in this episode was the opposite.

Episode Context

Coming directly off the Minerva's intense combat engagement in PHASE-04, this episode broadens the scope from a single battlefield to a civilization-level threat, signaling that SEED Destiny's early arc is about escalating consequence rather than isolated skirmishes. It positions the falling Junius Seven debris as both a literal and symbolic reckoning with the first war's unresolved trauma. PHASE-06 picks up the fallout directly, meaning this episode functions as the dramatic ignition point for one of the season's most consequential early story beats.
